Lung and Respiratory
Wolfson Children’s has the region’s most comprehensive lung and respiratory programs for children. We evaluate, diagnose and provide care and ongoing management for common and complex pediatric lung conditions, such as asthma, cystic fibrosis, chronic cough and pneumonia.

Sickle Cell Pulmonology Clinic
Children with sickle cell anemia often develop breathing problems and lung infections, such as asthma and pneumonia. Our team of pulmonologists, hematologists, respiratory therapists and other pediatric specialists come together to provide coordinated treatment and ongoing care for these children and their chronic lung problems. Cystic Fibrosis Program
Our specialists provide comprehensive CF care and management, including education, nutrition guidance and the latest treatments and medications. Through our Cystic Fibrosis Foundation-accredited program, your child benefits from an elevated level of care and access to the latest studies on new drugs and therapies. Respiratory Therapists Help Children Breathe Easier
You’ll see respiratory therapists throughout the hospital in the Newborn ICU, Pediatric ICU, Cardiovascular ICU, emergency centers and on our Kids Kare Mobile ICUs. From caring for premature infants with underdeveloped lungs to helping children with asthma, our specialized respiratory therapists are an essential part of our health care team.
