Your family isn't alone in this journey.
After your child leaves the hospital, the journey doesn't end, it just changes. The Courage Crew connects you with families who understand what you're going through, gives your child the chance to be a kid again, and surrounds you both with a community that cares.

The Courage Crew is for patients and their families who have an ongoing relationship with our care team. We believe that healing happens in community. That's why we create meaningful experiences and connections that last long after discharge—whether that's connecting with families who've walked similar paths, celebrating milestones, or building memories that remind your child (and you) that there's joy beyond medical appointments.
Courage Crew is made possible through the generosity of donors. Thanks to their gifts, we can create meaningful experiences for Wolfson Children's patients and families.

Having a child with complex medical needs can be incredibly isolating, and the Courage Crew is creating opportunities that allow us to step out of that isolation, socialize with others walking a similar path, and participate in activities without the stress and barriers of having to organize everything ourselves.
The Courage Crew offers a range of experiences throughout the year—some are about connecting as a community, others are built around what your family needs right now.
Community & Connection
Learning & Support
Celebration & Joy
When your family is part of Courage Crew, we see real changes: kids feel seen and celebrated, parents find relief in connecting with others who understand, and your whole family gains access to resources you might not know about. Most importantly, we're reminding your child that they're more than their diagnosis—they're a kid who deserves to have fun, feel supported, and belong.
