American Board of Pediatrics (Pediatrics)
I love my job as a pediatrician because I enjoy watching children grow, learn and develop. I am a believer in preventative medicine and feel strongly that developing healthy habits at a young age can help prevent future health problems in children as they grow into adults.
I am a Florida native, growing up in Gainesville. I attended college at Trinity University in San Antonio, TX where I was on the swim and water polo team. I then completed my medical school training at the University of South Florida and my pediatrics residency at UNC Chapel Hill. Following residency, I worked in a pediatric practice in Raleigh, NC for several years. I returned to Florida in 2013, making Jacksonville Beach my home.
In my free time, I enjoy running and competing in local races, triathlons, exploring the outdoors, playing at the beach, and spending time with my husband and two children.
