From the doctor

I love my job as a pediatrician because I enjoy working with children, and watching them grow and change through the years. I am a believer in preventative medicine and I feel strongly that developing healthy habits at a young age can help prevent future health problems in children as they grow into adults.

Following my medical residency training at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, I spent three years in a general pediatric practice in Raleigh, N.C., and the past two years in a private pediatric practice in Fleming Island. Originally from Gainesville, where I swam in high school and went on to compete in swimming and water polo in college, I decided to return to my native state in 2013, making the wonderful city of Jacksonville Beach, where I live with my husband and daughter.

When I am not working as a pediatrician, I enjoy running marathons and competing and volunteering at triathlon events near my home in Jacksonville Beach, and spending time with my husband and daughter.
