From the doctor
I am excited to be in Jacksonville after spending the past two decades as a clinical professor of pediatrics and most recently the director of the pediatric cardiology fellowship training program at a major children’s heart center in New York City.
I realize that a diagnosis of a heart defect in a fetus or child can be an emotionally fraught time for families. I see my role as one who helps them navigate this unknown terrain, and works with them to ensure the best possible outcome.
I do not believe that geography should dictate destiny, and have worked with charitable organizations to bring state-of-the-art heart care to developing nations in Central America. I devote my spare time to physical fitness, and to Indian classical music.
