From the Doctor

I moved to the Jacksonville area in 2012 after finishing my fellowship training at Boston Children’s Hospital. I have two wonderful children, Madison and Brady, who keep me busy when I am not at the hospital. We enjoy traveling, playing games and spending time in the water.

One of the most profound parts of my job is seeing families who were referred to me because of a concern for congenital heart disease in their unborn child. I can only imagine the extent of their fears but hopefully getting the chance to sit down with them and walk them through the diagnosis will help me guide them through that scary time and give them hope.
