From the Doctor
Most of my time outside of work is spent with my wife, three boys, and dog. I like exploring Jacksonville and the Southeast, watching sports, and exercising. I’m a dedicated Jacksonville Jaguars, Texas Longhorns and New York Yankees fan.
I do many of my operations using minimally invasive techniques with laparoscopic and robotic surgery which can provide many patient benefits including reduced pain, fewer complications and faster recovery time. I really enjoy making a connection with patients and helping them though a major event in their lives. I treat my patients with the same compassion that I would want my family to be treated with.
In order to stay current in my field, I regularly attend meetings and read journals of the organizations I’m a member of, including the American College of Surgeons, the Society of American Gastrointestinal Endoscopic Surgeons and the American Society for Metabolic and Bariatric Surgery.
