From the Doctor

I was born and raised in the Chicagoland area. While I have lived in several parts of the country, Jacksonville has been my home since 1997. I enjoy reading, attending concerts and other events with friends, doing yoga and spending time with my rabbit.

My treatment approach is collaborative, and I value parents' knowledge and understanding of their own children. My goal is to understand behaviors that are problematic, teach the child more socially acceptable alternatives, and coach parents and caregivers in techniques that they can use to manage problem behaviors and help their child at home. Since every family is different, treatment is individualized. I believe all children can learn and grow if given the opportunity and the right supports.
