Teresa has 20 years experience both inpatient and outpatient setting. She has worked primarily as a hospitalist emergency medicine nurse practitioner managing a variety of both acute and non-acute illnesses.

From the Doctor

I was born and raised in Jacksonville and my husband and I have four shared children and three grandchildren. My husband is a battalion chief in the fire department. We enjoy spending time together at home, with family and traveling when we can usually in the Fall. I enjoy reading novels by Nora Roberts in my spare time.

I enjoy taking care of patients and treating each person as if they were my own family. I enjoy teaching patients and helping them make informed decisions about their care with different options if possible. Each patient is different and it is important for me to allow patients to decide how they want their care to be and incorporate their individual goals.

I enjoy helping families in need by visiting local food pantries and picking up food for those who can’t get the food due to health or transportation issues.
