Job Summary
Baptist Health is seeking a motivated individual to join the Baptist team as a Health Unit Coordinator on the Pediatric Behavioral Health Unit. This Health Unit Coordinator role is a Part-Time, Weekends opportunity working 24 hours per week, 8:45am-9:15pm Saturdays and Sundays and is located at Wolfson Children's Hospital Downtown (Jacksonville, FL).
We are looking for candidates who thrive in a fast-paced environment and have confidence working in a clerical role. Health Unit Coordinators (HUCs) are responsible for secretarial activities of the nursing unit.
Additional Responsibilities Include:
- Answering call lights and phone calls promptly
- Ordering and taking inventory of unit supplies and equipment
- Maintaining patient chart folders
- Greeting and assisting all customers while adhering to service excellence principles
- Maintaining a neat and orderly nursing station
- Other duties and responsibilities as assigned
