Job Summary

We are looking for a Registered Nurse to join our Wound Care team at Wolfson Children's Hospital.  This is a PRN Day Shift position. As a Registered Nurse for Wolfson Children's Hospital your duties include but are not limited to:

  • Provides evaluation of patients with ostomy/draining wounds.
  • Initiates Plan of Treatment & ongoing evaluation. Consults primary RN & provides reports to physician.
  • Identifies educational needs of nursing personnel & conducts inservices on ostomy, skin, wound, & fistula care.
  • Provides extensive education. Provides multidisciplinary care with Rehab professionals, RN, doctors, social service & support.
  • Instructs patient/families in use of wound care products & participation in the plan of care.
